Little Scoop big story

Little Scoop big story

It’s all about the metal, this handy little 15ml scoop packs a big story. Using wrought iron salvaged from the wreck of SS James Eagan Layne the simply forged handle exposes over 75 years of erosion beneath the sea. The scoops are individually formed by hand using "yellow metal" (brass) recovered from the sea bed off the Devon and Cornish coast and fixed with traditional copper rivets. These are not massed produced from large sheets of metal but shards found on on the sea bed making each one totally unique.

PLEASE NOTE this should not be immersed in water/ liquids.

  • To keep the scop in its best condition oil the handle occasionaly to prevent any potential rusting.

Please DONOT SUBMERGE IN ANY LIQUIDS.
